Pukekaikiore Tama 12 A long, hard one day tramp from Mangatepopo car park outwards on the Alpine Crossing track then up between Ngauruhoe and Pukekaikiore through some of the roughest scoria in the North Island.  Off track section then used passing above the "Cricket Pitch" then exit via the Upper and Lower Tama Lakes.
